How to Participate
If you would like to volunteer to participate in a clinical trial through our medical offices, please complete the Clinical Trial Application form. If you have any questions please contact us at 209-939-3877.
After you have completed and submitted the Clinical Trial Application form, our next step will be to ask you some questions to confirm that you match the criteria necessary for the targeted study.
After your qualification has been confirmed, you will visit our office and review the Informed Consent documentation. This process is specific to each clinical trial and includes the potential benefits and risks associated with the study.
We will also explain the time commitment and process that you will need to follow in order to participate. At any stage in this process and throughout the trial you may ask questions and are under no obligation to continue.
After you have agreed to participate, you will receive a physical examination as well as any other medical procedures required by the trial’s sponsors. This always will be at no cost to you while you participate in the study.
Once the study has begun, you will receive the therapy or treatment being investigated or a placebo until the conclusion of your participation in the study.
Results of the study will only be made available after all research has been completed, reviewed and approved by the Federal Government and released by the organization that funded the study.
All personal information is always kept in the strictest confidence. No individual study results or individual contact information is every released.
