Patient Information
Research involving living individuals contributes to the development of many areas of our lives. This includes new medicines and surgical procedures, innovative education techniques, social policies, laws, business practices, technologies, and much more.
Although participating in clinical trial research isn’t for everyone the benefits can be amazing. St. Joseph 's Medical Associates has been involved in conducting clinical trials for more than seven years with outstanding results. Potential participants often have questions. Our staff will do everything they can to answer them. A good place to start is our About Clinical Research section.
The basic ethical principle of any research we do is to assure that every participant in a study has complete "autonomy." Every person must act of his/her own free will to volunteer for any study. Every participant in any research we undertake is provided with relevant information about what the project entails and are free to decide whether or not to participate .
We are currently seeking patients for the following clinical trials:
1.) Diabetes Mellitus
2.) Arthritis
3.) Migraine
4.) High Blood Pressure
5.) High Cholesterol
6.) Heart Disease
7.) Asthma
